How We Work with Trade Professionals

Motawi tile is suitable for both residential and commercial projects. From private kitchens to public libraries, our handcrafted tile brings beauty and character wherever it’s installed.

Every project is unique, and sometimes you just need a sounding board. We’re happy to answer questions and provide guidance to help you finalize your tile layouts.
If your project calls for deeper collaboration, we also offer design services for members of the trade. (You manage the client—we’ll support your creative process.) -
Seeing and touching the tile makes all the difference. Here’s how samples work:
Glaze range samples can be ordered directly through our website (same for public and trade).
Full glaze chip set: Trade members can request to order a complete set with one tile in each Motawi glaze color.
Decorative tile & molding samples: Made to order and non-returnable. Tell us what you’d like to see, and we’ll help get your order started.
Because our glazes are handmade, variations are part of their beauty. Raw materials shift over time, so before moving forward we recommend ordering a Glaze Range Sample of any glaze you’re considering. These samples represent the current iteration and show the natural variation you can expect.

Members of the building trades—architects, contractors, and designers—are welcome to apply for a Motawi Trade account.

All communication should come through you (not your client).
Payments for trade orders must be handled by you directly. We request ACH or check payment.
